Conference hosting companies had to pivot in 2020 from in-person events to virtual forums, candidly with mixed results. Some of the larger media companies have doubled down on virtual this year, with more frequent webinars, too. Check out Reuters, for example. As they pivot their flagship conferences back to in-person in 2022 (yay!), I hope these webinars will continue - they can be a focused learning moment, plus an opportunity to network. Sometimes they are available to watch later if the timing of the live event doesn’t work.
